Terra Sintrópica’s Revolution in Sustainable Farming!

Recently, we had the pleasure of filming in the lush vegetable gardens of Malhadinha/CARES and PREC.

These are two transformative projects under the Terra Sintrópica association—a vibrant partner of BIOTraCes. Nestled in Mértola, within Portugal’s semi- arid Alentejo region, Terra Sintrópica stands defiantly against the odds in one of Europe’s most drought-stricken and depopulated areas. Here, where relentless deforestation, conventional agriculture, and climate change have left their mark, Terra Sintrópica is rewriting the rulebook on farming.
